Statement Of Faith
The Scriptures Inspired by God. The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and to that end, all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, that men of God may be complete, thoroughly furnished unto all good work. (Rom. 15:40; 1Thes 2:13; 2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20)
The One True God. The one true God has revealed himself as the self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of the universe existing in three persons: namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. ( Deut. 6:4; Ex. 3:14; Isa. 43:10-12; Isa. 25; Isa. 44:6; Isa. 48:16; Mark 12:29; Matt. 28:19; Luke 3:22)
The Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of a virgin. He was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits and stands at the right hand of the Father as our one and only mediator and intercessor. (Matt. 1:23; John 5:22-23, 2 John 3; Heb. 1:1-13)
The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost is the third person of the Godhead, who indwells, convicts, and seals all believers in Christ; fills those who believe in him, and gives spiritual gifts to all believers. (Titus 3:5; Eph. 4:30; John 16:7-11; Rom. 12:6-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-31)
